Janet's arrival

Well wed 5/18 my long time friend Janet Brecht (33 yrs) arrived, It was great to renew our old friendship, we finally stopped talking and getting caught up with photos, (too many to remember for both) and took to the road. Janet had been here about 25 years ago so sightseeing is going to be more of a refresher course and to get to places we did not explore. now I am trying to get caught up for you all.

We headed to the Waimea Canyon and the West Shore sights. weather cooperated both days. have had some rain but only at night. Friday nite we went to Haneppe for the Art Walk they have each week. we took the dog with us since he had been alone most of the day, but he is not my Roki . . . he whinned the whole trip. we didn't know if he wanted out of the car to pee, or the window all the way down to blow his brains out, or this was his 'excited' talk. whatever it was, he made lots of friend at the art walk, all the vacationers who had to leave there little dogs home all wanted to hold or pet him and this dog 'ate' it up. he has really made friends with Janet. (who was not a dog person, but is NOW with CZ) a fun time was had by all. (except for the whinning! - both of us were laughing the whole time.) all dogs are not alike, that's for sure.

  1. Hi Sweetie,

Great pictures! Thanks. Nice to see your friend Janet (hi Janet) and of course Caesar. That swing bridge is great and the chicken is so colorful. Take some pictures at the beach today.

    Love, Larry
